Fairfield Eagles Shut Out All Saints 10 to 0
The Fairfield Eagles picked up a dominant road win Thursday, defeating All Saints Episcopal 10 to 0.
Fairfield jumped out to an early lead in the first inning and continued to add runs throughout the game. The Eagles scored three runs in the second inning and added another in the third before a five run fourth inning sealed the victory.
Gustavo Aguilera earned the win on the mound, throwing three scoreless innings while allowing no hits and striking out seven. Landon Cockerell added a scoreless relief appearance to help complete the shutout.
Offensively, Aguilera led Fairfield with two hits. Gavin Thaler, Jackson Murphy, and Aguilera each drove in two runs. The Eagles also applied pressure on the bases, finishing the game with five stolen bases.
Fairfield will travel to Mineola on Friday for their next game.
