The Fairfield Lady Eagles picked up a dominant 15–0 win over Mexia on Friday night.

Fairfield got on the board in the first inning as Cadence Webster drove in a run on a groundout. Evelyn Fultz added an RBI double, and the Lady Eagles took advantage of a Mexia error and a passed ball to build an early lead.

The offense continued to roll in the second inning when Haylee Allen doubled to extend the lead to 5–0.

Fairfield broke the game open in the third inning, scoring seven runs. Cadence Webster reached on a fielder’s choice that scored a run, while Allen, Fultz, and Madison High were each hit by pitches that brought runners home. Kaylie Ridge added an RBI walk, and another Mexia error pushed two more runs across.

Haylee Allen was outstanding in the circle for the Lady Eagles. She allowed no hits and no runs over four innings while striking out nine and walking one.

Payton Mims led Fairfield at the plate with three hits from the leadoff spot. Fultz, Allen, and Webster each drove in two runs. Cariss Capps reached base three times on walks and added two stolen bases as Fairfield stayed aggressive on the base paths.

The Lady Eagles also showed patience at the plate, drawing five walks while collecting eight hits in the game.

With the win, Fairfield continues to build momentum early in the season.
