Several Fairfield Eagles earned the opportunity to compete at the Regional Powerlifting Meet after strong performances during the regular season and district competition.

The Boys Regional Powerlifting Meet will take place Saturday, March 14 at West High School.

Representing Fairfield will be Yoel Munoz in the 114 pound class, Francisco Espinoza in the 123 pound class, Austin Solis, Gage Wendt, and Logan Williams in the 148 pound class, Armando Charles in the 165 pound class, AJ Garcia in the 181 pound class, Mason Edwards in the 220 pound class, and Garrett Bosley in the 308 pound class.

Qualifying for the regional meet is a significant accomplishment, as only the top lifters from each weight class advance to compete against some of the best athletes in the region.

The Eagles have worked hard throughout the season to earn their place on the regional platform, and Fairfield is proud of these student athletes for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to representing their school.
