Fairfield High School has announced the 2026–2027 cheer squads, and this group is ready to bring energy and represent Fairfield High School.

For senior co-captain Reese Beaver, cheer is all about “showing up for our teams” and being part of the excitement alongside them. Co-captain Addison Shipley sees it as something even bigger, calling cheer “more than a sport” and pointing to the dedication and passion this group already brings.

Junior varsity captain Allie Petty is stepping into her first year at the high school level focused on building a team rooted in “unity, fun, and Eagle pride.”

The squad will host Eagle Cheer Camp June 8 through 11 at the Fairfield High School Johnson Activity Center, giving younger Eagles a chance to get involved. Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for 3 year olds through incoming 2nd graders, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for incoming 3rd through 8th graders. Individual camper photos will be taken on Wednesday. Registration will be available soon on the Fairfield ISD website.

The program will be led by cheer sponsor Dawn Melancon during the 2026–2027 school year.
